It’s that time of the year again, daylight savings time is coming to an end!  Jill & Jen from, gurumommy’s resident sleep experts to ask about daylight savings time (November 4th) and how it effects your child’s sleep schedule?
On the plus side, this time of year means you get an hour of extra sleep, on the bummer side, it gets darker much earlier.  Here are some tips to get your child get back to theirs (and yours!) usual schedule:
1. Put your child down at her regular bedtime, even though it’s dark and they will be tired, keep them up as late as possible, otherwise they will be up and hour early in the morning and then tired again too early at night!
2. If your child naps, put her down at her normal nap time according to the new clock and resume a normal schedule from there. Don’t allow her to nap longer than usual.
