Maison Giraud, the long-awaited Pacific Palisades project from chef Alain Giraud, has FINALLY officially opened! Giraud, who has a long history in Southern California fine dining, dating back to his decade as executive chef at Citrus has opened Maison Giraud in the former Dante Palisades restaurant on Swarthmore Avenue in the Palisades. The bakery, open at 7:30 A.M., will supply the restaurant with fresh pastries, bread, and desserts throughout the day. To the left of the restaurant, a small marketplace has been carved out. It’s filled with colorful French linens, dishes, and dried goods, it will be open from breakfast through dinner (including late-afternoon snack, or “gouter“).
