A friend recently took their 8 year old daughter to visit the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library (and museum) and could NOT stop raving. No matter what your politics it is an amazing experience, and only 45 minutes away from the Westside. Besides the amazing story of the President himself the museum houses the actual Air Force One which they took apart and put back together behind glass windows, there is also a miniature replica of his White House (and tons of jelly beans, his favorite food!) In honor of President Ronald Reagan’s 100th birthday (February 6, 2011), the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library are currently planning many events to fall within his centennial year. This includes a complete transformation of the Museum galleries within the Reagan Library.
